RMA Terms and Conditions

Active Vision Return Policy

Warranty Replacement and Refund Instructions
A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by Active Vision must accompany all returns. All items returned without an RMA number will be REFUSED. To request an RMA please Read and Accept our Terms and Conditions and complete the form on the following page. All returns that do not meet these conditions are subject to an immediate 20% restocking fee or refusal. Video test kit monitors, covert cameras, and covert systems are non-returnable and will only be repaired / replaced.

Warranty
Most of our products have a one-year warranty. However, if returned item is determined to be in working order, or has been abused, you will be charged for shipping costs. After 15 days there will be no refunds, only replacements for the same or similar product.

Product Condition
There should be no visible damage to the products such as:

  • Cut wires (power, video, etc.)
  • Stripped connectors (missing BNC, RCA or power connectors)
  • Evidence of tampering (e.g. broken seals)
  • Damaged covers, housing, or cases
  • Dents of any kind
  • Visible scratches
  • Missing parts (cables, accessories, screws, etc.)
  • Damaged electronics (missing buttons, damaged circuit boards, etc)
  • Orginal labels on the product and box must be intact.
  • The Original product box must not be marked or damaged. Unacceptable markings to the box include RMA numbers, tape, stickers, labels, etc.

  • Packing
    Enclose RMA form in box.
    Repack the product and included parts in their original product box. DO NOT use, original product boxes, weak boxes, or shipping envelopes (padded or paper) when shipping as this may cause damage to the original product box.
